HOW WE STARTED

Maddie left a job in investment banking to start Sleepy Saturday in 2023, taking a design sensibility honed at Washington and Lee — where she made apparel for half the campus — somewhere more elevated.

It began in a Nolita boutique, before there was even a website. An influencer posted a pair of the pajamas, and everything moved quickly after that.

Today Sleepy Saturday is stocked at more than fifty of America's loveliest resorts, golf clubs, and boutiques — and at its heart, it is a custom design studio.
